Discover the pleasures of winter in the Manicouagan region of the North Shore. For its exceptional snow cover, splendid view of the Saint Lawrence and the fjord of the Saguenay River, the region is an immense playground for those who love winter.
Manicouagan-Uapishka World Biosphere Reserve

In September 2007, the entire region of Manicouagan was designated a world biosphere reserve by UNESCO. After five years, the committee working on this project was finally rewarded for its efforts.

The Association touristique régional (ATR) Manicouagan (Manicouagan's regional tourism association) is the regional representative of Tourisme Québec and has the mandate to promote and develop the territory extending from Tadoussac–Sacré-Coeur to Baie-Trinité in the Côte-Nord region. This region offers tourist attractions on land and sea, while its hinterland extends northwards all the way to the renowned Manic-5 dam and the Groulx Mountains .
